Enhancing Sustainable Performance via GHRM: A Study on Wellbeing and Engagement Indirect Relationship
Abstract
This study analyzes how employee well-being (EW) and engagement (EE) mediate GHRM's impact on sustainable performance activities. The data utilized GHRM practices' direct and indirect effects. From November to December 2023, 196 Pakistani manufacturing company employees were surveyed. The results of structural equation modeling indicate that GHRM significantly enhances sustainable performance by increasing employee engagement and well-being, both directly and indirectly. EW and WE partially mediated the association between GHRM and SP, emphasizing the need for employee-centered sustainability strategies. The findings highlight the strategic importance of green HRM practices and offer practical guidance for organizations that wish to build a more engaged and sustainable workforce.
